Dr. Cox has been practicing Cardiology for nearly twenty years. Patient care is his #1 priority combined with his passion for technical expertise.
The son of a Radiologist, Dr. Cox saw first-hand that a level, stable and safer surface during specific medical procedures was needed.
He spent years researching, developing and manufacturing The Cox Stand; now successfully utilized by Cardiologists and Radiologists.
Dr. S. Lane Cox is a board certified cardiologist who has been practicing in Amarillo since 2003. He completed medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine Grenada, West Indies. He completed his medical residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Tulsa, and his Cardiology Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to joining Cardiology Center of Amarillo in 2008, Dr. Cox was in private practice.
